By purchasing goods from tvcabinets.co.uk or participating in our website’s services, over the phone, through our sales team, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy and Shipping specifications.

Please understand that by agreeing to our terms & conditions, you are also agreeing to our Returns policy . Once the goods are purchased and dispatched from our webstore, there is a legally binding contract between Tvcabinets.co.uk and you as a customer. TV Cabinets reserve the right to change or/and update the terms & conditions at any point of time without notice. Any changes to the terms and conditions or returns policy will be effective for all new orders placed after the change is published on the tvcabinets.co.uk online website.

Please note that by buying our products, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Minimum Age Criteria to Ordering Goods

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, it is assumed that you are fully accepting that you are aged 18 years or over.

Users acknowledge and agree that they remain solely responsible for all activity undertaken in respect of their Account.

Completing Your Order – Online, Over the Phone

The purchase procedure completes only after the confirmation of order. Our order acknowledgement email lists the final details of your order purchased.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree that no amendments can be made in your order once we send the Order Acknowledge email, without notifying the sales or aftersales representatives.

Order acknowledgement email comprises; complete information of the goods ordered, the total cost of the order including shipping/delivery costs, an order number and a copy of our terms and conditions which you have agreed to, prior to submitting your order. Our order acknowledgement email will have an invoice & acknowledgement receipt of payment and summary of your ordered goods. We recommend printing of this copy and keeping it safe. You might need to refer these details while you contact us for your queries related to your order.

Note: Order Acknowledgement email only confirms that the order has been received by Tvcabinets.co.uk. However, it does not indicate that we have accepted your order and does not form a binding contract.

Clause for Acceptance of Orders

Once the goods are dispatched, only then the order’s acceptance will take place to your shipping location. Until the ordered goods are dispatched, no contract is formed between the user and Tvcabinets.co.uk; except as set out in the below paragraph:

Special Terms & Condition for Made to Order Products

For certain made to order products, acceptance of your order takes place at the point at which we send out our delivery advice email.

Please understand that Tvcabinets.co.uk reserves the right, at full discretion and without the obligation of giving reasons, to deny the order at any point in time. Once the order is refused, the user is notified in time and a refund is generated within 4 working days after the notification.

Conditions of Payment — Online and Over the Phone

Tvcabinets.co.uk assures that the payment is only taken from your card at the time you place your order for the goods chosen by yourself. In case of any issue occurring during the payment process, we will contact you directly, using the details provided by yourself at time of purchase.

Note: This is to bring to the user’s notice that taking payment does not mean we have accepted your order. Any event where we fail to accept your order due to some circumstances, a full refund will be offered as soon as reasonably possible (and in any event within 14 days of us advising you that your order has not been accepted).

Price Estimation of Goods Advertised Online

Users need to understand that the prices displayed online are inclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. The prices stated above, exclude the delivery fee. This price will be added to your total order price as per the conditions mentioned below:

Price to be paid from user’s end for the goods is the same price given by Tvcabinets.co.uk, at the time you place your order. The pricing policy in this regard is fixed, except wherever specified otherwise in our terms and conditions. The standard rule regarding the delivery fee payable will be that which is given by Tvcabinets.co.uk at the time you place your order. The calculations of the delivery fee are as per your postcode, the weight of the good and size of the goods you would like to purchase.

Pricing Errors on Goods Advertised Online

This is to bring to your notice, whilst we try to ensure that all the prices on our online website are accurate; there are equal chances of errors. If we discover that there is some error in the pricing of the goods ordered, we will inform you at the earliest. You will then be required to choose between re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. This will only occur before the contract between the customer and retailer is formed.

In case we are unable to contact you using the information provided during the order process, the order will be treated as cancelled and notify you by email.

If you decide to cancel your order after we have informed you of a pricing error and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund as soon as reasonably possible, which will be transitioned within 4 working days after this notification.

We reserve the right to modify the Terms of Delivery at any time and the couriers used may also be subject to change. This does not apply to any customers who have already placed the order.

Clause for Delivery Locations

We deliver to the shipping address based on the location information shared by you. Please note that we are not liable for any changes to this address, after the order has been dispatched.

Please note below, important information on delivery to specific postcodes:

Free standard delivery for UK Mainland excluding the following postcodes: AB16-56, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, TR (deliveries to these locations may take between 5 -10 working days).

For all offshore & overseas' deliveries, a standard charge will be applied and so an additional amount will be calculated after the order; including postcodes: BT, EI, IM, GY, KW, ZE, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, etc.

Please note that the delivery fee payable by you, for your ordered goods, will be that which is given by Tvcabinets.co.uk at the time of purchase. The delivery fee will be calculated as per your postcode, the weight of the goods and the size of the goods as per mentioned earlier.

Applicable Delivery Restrictions

Our inventory is vast. There might be some furniture units larger in size than expected. It is to be noted that the responsibility of cross-checking the dimensions of furniture (before/after assembling) prior to purchase is solely your responsibility. Also, it is buyer’s responsibility to ensure there is enough space at the delivery address for delivery to take place. You must ensure that your property and the delivery area are safe for delivery staff and is accessible for the courier services.

Any item that is fragile, such as lights, vases, pictures, etc. should be moved prior to delivery of goods. We will take reasonable care and skills when delivering at your premises.

To ensure a smooth delivery of your ordered goods, it is your responsibility to provide TV Cabinets with as much detail as possible, in advance, about features of the delivery address which may affect the delivery (e.g. will there be time to unload / load? Do you live on a red route? Are there any height, width or weight restrictions? Are there any parking restrictions? Will the vehicle require a parking permit? Are there any time restrictions? Will delivery be at non-ground floor level? Is access to the delivery location made difficult due to narrow doors or staircases?) If the delivery is to a business address, are there any restrictions in terms of the opening hours?

Buyers ordering in our showroom can provide us with this information at the time of purchase.

Buyers ordering online may leave a note in the “comments” section whilst placing the order.

Buyers ordering over the phone, with one of our sales representatives, may leave a message with them, of the details of delivery access.

If you provide us with incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information / instructions, we will give you a reasonable time to provide us with this information or we reserve the right to cancel the delivery by giving you written notice. Delivery staff are not permitted to and shall not: remove doors, windows, doorframes etc. to complete the delivery (if these measures are required, you as a consumer, must undertake these actions; before delivery takes place as our couriers do not carry any specialised lifting equipment.

Shipping Clause at Point of Delivery

Delivery of orders will take place at the shipping location as specified by the user. You will be required to provide us with two telephone numbers (Mobile and Home) and a valid email address for contacting easily.

You as a consumer are solely responsible to be available at the mentioned shipping address at the point of delivery on the delivery date, mutually agreed between yourself and the courier. In cases where the buyer is unavailable on the mentioned date, it is his/her responsibility to inform the team at TV Cabinets in advance. We will not be liable for any delay in delivery because of any act or omission by you.

If you are not personally available to accept the delivery, a representative as appointed by you may to do so in your place. However, the representative must be an adult capable of receiving delivery on your behalf, and you agree that we will be entitled to rely on the representative's instructions as if they were your own. Delivery staff is not permitted to leave any items that have not been signed for. You will be asked to sign the delivery document confirming that the delivery has taken place. Please understand that this will not affect your legal right to notify us if you subsequently find a defect in your goods.

This is an opportunity to inspect the goods further, before reporting any damages or missing parts to your ordered goods.

If you refuse to sign the delivery document (POD), this will be taken as refusal to accept delivery and the goods will be taken away by the courier.

Note: Once the goods are shipped and delivered to the buyer, he/she becomes the rightful owner and responsible of those goods. From the point of acceptance of goods, they will be at your risk which means you will be held liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction.

Terms for Dealing with Damaged Goods

In cases of receiving faulty, damaged or missing goods, you are required to report the team at Tvcabinets.co.uk. We also advise that you keep photographic evidence and share the same at the point of reporting the fault. It is recommended to retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

Please note that in such cases, you will be entitled to a full refund or a replacement but only when the order is in fact deemed to be defective. The photographic evidence may be requested, of any faults or damages reported to us. Any damaged goods or parcels, must be retained for inspection by Tvcabinets.co.uk

Clause Related to Cooling Off Period

This is to bring to the consumer’s notice that he/she is entitled to a statutory cooling off period. This starts from the beginning of the date of placing the order online or over the telephone till 14 days after the date that the goods are received. It is advised to inform Tvcabinets.co.uk in writing during the cooling off period if the contract is cancelled (e-mails are accepted).

If you have not received the goods at the time of cancellation of the contract, and we have not processed the goods for delivery, the exact amount in question will be refunded to you within 30 days of the cancellation being accepted. However, if we have processed the goods for delivery, and they are en route, you are requested to reject the goods at point of delivery and not accept them. In this case, a refund will be generated only when the goods are returned to us. If delivery has been made by our courier service, this service will incur charges more than our standard delivery charges and we reserve the right to deduct these charges from your refund if your order is cancelled after dispatch or whilst in transit. We will make the refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation being accepted.

If you have decided to cancel goods after receipt, the goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. You are the owner of the goods once they have been delivered to you and you are liable for their loss or destruction. We will refund to you all the monies paid by you for the unwanted goods in question, including the original delivery charge if applicable, and excluding the cost of collection if that service has been rendered by us. The refund will be in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order being accepted. This refund will be in full, however if the value of the goods is diminished by any amount because of handling of the goods by you beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may recover that amount up to the contract price directly from you. I f the returned goods have not been looked after by you with reasonable care and are not in the condition that they were in when delivered to you, we reserve the right to pursue a claim against you separately.

If you do not return the goods to us we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be refunded to you.

Delivery Policy for Ordered Goods

This section of the Delivery Terms applies only to purchases made on our website: www.tvcabinets.co.uk and does not apply to orders made in store, unless goods are to be delivered and not taken away on the day of purchase.

Once you have placed your order online, TV Cabinets send you an order acknowledgement email which will indicate an estimated delivery date for your goods to the delivery address specified in your order.

We try our best to meet the estimated delivery dates however there are times where we are unable to do this and your confirmed delivery date will be different.

We would advise you not to make any plans to accept your delivery, for example booking time off from work, until we have confirmed the date with you.

We aim to deliver your order within 30 days of placing your order, depending on stock availability and where you live, however most orders are delivered within 15 days.

We will, in any event, deliver the goods within 30 days of your order unless otherwise agreed by you and us.

“Special Order” goods will take longer to deliver as they are being delivered directly from our suppliers. In most cases, these will be delivered within 45 days from placing your order. If your order includes any additional products that are not “Special Order” then a separate delivery will be made.

Within 72 hours of placing your order online, we will send you a delivery advice email which will confirm the planned delivery date and specify whether delivery will be made by our 2-man-delivery-service couriers. It will also set out your delivery number. If you have included a mobile telephone number, our couriers will contact you, to confirm a delivery time and date, mutually agreed between yourself and the courier.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree to check the delivery advice email and ensure you will be available to accept delivery of the goods on the delivery date. If you are unavailable, please contact us or our courier, to confirm a different suitable date, as soon as possible and, in any event, no later than 48 hours before the planned delivery date by contacting the aftersales or sales representatives through our online ticket system or on 0208 1447867.

If for any reason, you are unable to accept the delivery, on the mutually agreed time and date, there will be a re -delivery charge, which vary for orders with different total weights and can be advised by contacting the aftersales or sales representatives through our online ticket system or on 0208 1447867 Our couriers update order tracking details within 24-48 hours before delivery.

You can then access a consignment number, to track your delivery whilst on its journey to you. Use the tracking number provided within your dispatch message sent to your email, by TV Cabinets, on the website provided to you, for this courier service.

Clause for Changing Delivery Date

In case you wish to change the date or time of delivery, TV Cabinets’ customer personnel will be more than happy to help. Contacting the customer service representatives, you will be apprised with the information whether you can change the already provided delivery date and time.

Your Right to Cancellation of "off the rack" Goods

An order made at TV Cabinets for the standards products which are not made to your specification; you get the right to cancel it at any point of time before goods in it are dispatched. With the cancellation, you will receive an entire refund of the cost of the items in your order, delivery charges and any additional charges incurred. Followed by dispatch of goods, we recommend that you inform us about the non-requirement of goods. This implies that in case of a change of mind of not buying or not keeping the purchased items with you, you can inform us so that we could initiate cancellation in the contract and you can return the items and get a refund.

Your statutory rights under law will not be affected within our return policy or general terms and conditions. In general, if the goods are wrongly described and exhibit unsatisfactory value, you will always be authorized to return goods to us for a full refund. In these conditions, you will receive the refund of amount of the items in full, accompanied by any pertinent delivery charges and any equitable prices you incur in returning the items.

Steps for Revoking the Order

When you want to cancel, an order made with us, you would need to update us about the cancellation which can be done in writing. You can submit an online form ( ) . After completing this step, you will receive an email from us where we confirm the receiving of the order cancellation. A cancellation form accompanied by terms and conditions will be sent to you once you have purchased the items.

    You must include your order number in the form and clearly specify which goods you wish to return. The cancellation process will be taken into effect the day it is sent. You will receive an automatic response by means of our online cancellation form.

    The below mentioned procedure is set to cancel the contract after goods have are delivered and you then agree to return them. We understand that your situations may change any time and so you have the right to cancel the order according to what is indicated above, and we request you to put this in writing. However, any cancellations that you make on the order during the course or after the dispatch process may be subjected to some charges. The request for products’ assembly should be done in writing. If you happen to make any cancellation during the product assembly, in that case the assembly charges will not be refunded. However, if the cancellation request is made after product has been assembled; the charges of assembly will not be refunded back to your account. It is important for you to note that the charges of assembly are non-refundable after its dispatch, in case of occurrence of any error, manufacturing faults, harms, defects, imperfections or with any other issues of any kind. If the request to cancel order is received after dispatch, or while in transit, you may suffer an added charge to have the goods returned to us. If your order has been shipped, please ensure the delivery date is clearly noticeable. Please note that the refund will only be processed after the goods have been returned to TV Cabinets. If the delivery is made via 2-man delivery service couriers, this service will include charges more than standard delivery charges. In this case, if the order is cancelled after dispatch or while it is in transit, we reserve the right to withhold these charges from your refund.

    Clause for Return of goods

    In case you receive the goods before you opt to cancel your contract, it is suggested that you return the goods immediately. If the collection of undesired goods are to be arranged, kindly contact us directly or you can also choose to contact our Sales Advisor on 0208 1447867. Carry your delivery receipt and order number in your hand. A sales representative will be arranged to collect the undesired goods.

    The goods shall be returned by you in full and we also request you to return the packaging wherever possible. Unless the goods are faulty, you would be responsible for the cost of the returning of goods. We would bear the cost of return and refund the amount that you spent in the process of returning the goods, if the goods delivered are not the same as the description. Also in such cases, no collection fees would be charged.

    If you want to return the goods via courier and the goods we receive get damaged in transit. You would be responsible for the incurred cost and will be charged for the damage made to the goods.

    If you opt to return the goods after you have started assembling them, and start disassembling them so that they are at least in the condition to be returned properly. But, the disassembling process is more likely to cause more damage to the items, therefore kindly let it be assembled and inform us by either contacting us directly or through our sales advisor at 0208 1447867.

    Taking care of the goods appropriately

    By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you understand that the goods will be taken care of appropriately by you from the delivery time to the time when the goods will be returned.

    Conditions for Collection of the Goods

    The goods will only be collected from the address that the goods were originally delivered to and will be subjected the condition as follows:

    You are in agreement of TV Cabinets with providing as much information about the address as possible including the necessary features, (the floor, from which the goods are to be collected from of if the place has ample space of not to carry the goods) so that out representative can prepare for the collection.

    You are in agreement that ensures suitable accessibility to the location chosen for collection. If the representative within reason considers that the location from which the goods are to be collected from may cause damage to them, you will be informed and recorded by the representative of the same. However, should you still instruct our representative to collect the goods from the same location, we shall not be deemed liable for damage caused to the goods as a consequence for us as the collection was attempted on your instructions (Provided, the collection of the goods will be done with reasonable care)

    You are in agreement of returning all goods to our representative, including all the components, part and the related accessories or items including the original packaging if possible. As they are included in the price of the goods that are being returned.

    You will be required to sign a collection document, provided by our representative who comes to collect the goods, in order to confirm that the collection has taken place. In case you are not available to accept the delivery of the goods, you must appoint someone else on your behalf to collect the goods. Your representative must be over 18 years old and capable of collecting the goods. We should be able to rely on your representative’s instruction as if they were your own.

    Customer’s rights to cancelling "off the shelf" goods

    It is suggested to return the goods with the proof of purchase, in case you change your mind after buying the goods, for a full refund. We will refund the amount you paid for the goods by crediting the amount to the credit/debit cards you used to make the payment.

    Your rights as a Consumer

    No rights of yours as a consumer are taken away by this policy. For any information regarding the same you can contact the Citizen Advise Bureau www.citizensadvice.org.uk. This return policy is made according to the rights that the consumers have including cancelling the contract formed at a distance under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

    The terms and conditions are regulated by UK Laws and Regulations. Any dispute in relation to this will be governed by the Laws and Regulations of English Law.

    Additional Information

    Unless stated differently, all goods will be sent flat packed. It would take 7 additional days to dispatch the items ordered with an assembly service.

    The goods will ONLY be delivered to the ground floor by our teams unless the lifts are working. If the lifts are out of service or no lifts or the goods do not fit in the lift, the goods will be delivered on the ground floor ONLY.
